Charlie throwing snow

Here is cute Charlie with the snowman that he kept trying to kick over.
And Charlie and Jacob down by the river...which Charlie still wanted to play in...but this time we told him no.

And finally Charlie and Me down by the river.

Here is Charlie again...this time throwing snow at Jacob!

Snow days

So...again, this is why we moved further south...this is what it looks like inbetween snow storms...I just love the sunshine!
We walked up on the mountain and jacob brought down some more fallen trees so that we have more wood to burn.

Charlie is just too cute to not take a quadrillion photos of.

Here he is again...just being cute

Then on Monday we woke up to a lot of snow. It is still early in the moning in the picture so there is not a lot of light.

Charlie likes playing in the snow. I snowed a little on Saturday and Sunday...and then a lot last night. We went out in the snow this morning. I will try to get better pictures later today when is is lighter if the snow sticks around.

Getting Our Christmas Tree

Seeing as we live on a lot of property we decided to cut down a Christmas tree where we live rather than purchasing one this year. We found out that this is a lot harder as most of the trees in the wild don't look anything like what a Christmas tree should look like. First things first...This is what it looked like on December 6th when we went to cut down our tree...which is one of the big reasons that we moved further south!
Here is cute Charlie helping us find our tree. He loves it when we go on these adventures because he can throw all the rocks he can find.

This is the tree that we finally chose after hiking around for about an hour...I think that it is actually a really nice one. It is also cool that we could get a really tall tree because one of our rooms has really tall ceilings.

Here is Charlie and I with the tree outside...we had to pull quite a bit of leaves and pine needles out of the tree before we brought it inside.
And here it is all up and before Charlie could start pulling ornaments off...not that perfect little Charlie would ever dream of doing that...but I have heard that other children his age do.
