Summer time...and we moved!

Once again my mom informed me that my pictures are sadly out of day. I tried to update them a few days ago but after trying to log in about 50 times because my e-mail address has changed and I couldn't remember my password, I gave up. I tried again today and finally figured it out.

We did move. We are living in Cottage Grove at the moment and are hoping to stay in the Eugene area. Jacob and I are both looking for work...so we will see where that takes us.

Charlie had his birthday right after we moved. This is one of him presents. He had a lot of fun opening everything up and eating his blizzard birthday cake later that day.

Here he is on the 4th of July. He really liked to watch the big fireworks that someone was lighting off nearby, and we purchased a ton of pop-its, which he threw everywhere for days after the 4th.

This is one of the presents my parents sent him for his birthday. He really liked playing with it.

We took Charlie to a parade in Cottage Grove which he loved. It only took him about one minute to figure out that they were throwing all of the candy for him to get. He was fearless running around to pick up the candy.
We also went to the beach. It was soooooooo windy down at the coast that Charlie would not play in the water...when you stood on the beach you got sandblasted...so we got a few quick pictures and then left so that he would stop complaining.

We did find a cliff that protected us from much of the wind. He was able to play in the sand for a bit and climb the rocks.
We went camping for a few days with Jesse, Nanell, Reese, and Valerie. Chalie loved this. He would play in the water as long as it was not too deep. He seemed to be afraid of the water when is was really deep even if Jacob or I was carrying him. We will have to work on that.We went to the zoo just this last weekend. They were having a dinosaur display that Charlie loved.
We took him on the train at the zoo as well. This was really fun for all of us. Jacob and I had a lot of fun at the zoo, and Charlie loved all of the animals.
So I think that is enough for now. Once again I will try to do better at updating. We did go to a family dinner while we were in Portland but I don't have the pictures for that yet...maybe I will do that before Christmas!
